How can I assign someone responsible (assignee) for certain data?
What is the "assignee" of a data?
The system have the concept of "assignee" for customer, company, opportunity, and event data. The assigned person in charge is independent to the viewing authorization. For example, account A is assigned as the person in charge of customer B's profile. Even if account A does not have the permission to modify all customers, account A can still modify customer B's profile, but cannot delete the profile.
When the system administrator edits customer, company, business opportunity, event data, he/she can specify the assignee in the visible permission setting area (share data with)
Taking customer information as an example, after setting the assignee, you can view it in the personal information viewing screen
On the right side of the customer's detailed information screen, you can also see the person in charge of the information
Even if the user does not have the permission to edit all customer data, after being set as the assignee, the user can also view and edit the data of this single customer (the "edit" button will appear)
