There are 2 different types of tags; Virtual tag and Actual tag.

Virtual tags are tags that cannot be applied to customers. Likewise, actual tags are tags that can be applied to customers. However, when an actual tag happens to be on the highest layer, you will not be able to see all customers within this nested layer. If you only want to have a category name for your nested layer, you can always create a Virtual tag.

Two types of tags of the first layer

1. Virtual tag
It is a single-color box, you cannot attach it to any customer, and they have nested actual tags.



When you click on the highest layer tag you can see all customers within its nested layers.


2. Actual tag
Actual tags have inverted triangles next to them. You can attach those tags to your customers so that it creates an customer group apart from others. (The example below shows that there are 168 customers with the Civil Servants tag.)


When you click an Actual Tag, the list will show the customers with that tag attached.
