Opportunity refers to business cooperation between companies. Usually, salespeople uses Excel or paper to manage their sales opportunities. By using the opportunity function, salespeople can manage their sales cases and have a clear understanding of the progress of each case, which makes opportunity tracking more efficient.


How to add an opportunity?

To add an opportunity, go to the "Opportunity" page, click "Add" in the upper right corner, and start adding the opportunity.


After entering the opportunity adding page, enter information in the fields. The following explains the meanings of each field:

  • Customer/Company: the target of the sales case
  • Opportunity Name: the name of the sales case defined by the salesperson, which can be self-defined for easy management and identification
  • Scheduled Closing Date: the system defaults to three months, but can be adjusted
  • Opportunity Category: If the company's sales cases are classified according to product type or sales direction, the category can be used to differentiate them
  • Opportunity Stage: (very important, it is recommended to fill in) the stage can help salespeople manage the progress of the case and must be updated with progress at all times
  • Opportunity Source: where the opportunity came from
  • Product: the product that the customer is interested in purchasing
  • Responsible Person: (required) only with a responsible person can the opportunity be closed


How to view opportunities?

You can click on the "Opportunity" tab on the company page to see the relevant opportunity list.
 

How to edit opportunities?

To adjust the opportunity stage, click "Edit" on the page of that opportunity to edit and adjust the opportunity stage. If there are similar opportunities, you can click "Copy" to copy the existing opportunity, adjust the content, and save it as a new opportunity.

How to close an opportunity?

Only the "opportunity assignee" has the authority to close the opportunity. When the sales case is confirmed or fails, the owner needs to click "Close" and select the reason for closing.

How to receive opportunity reminders?

To track opportunity, you can use notification functions to remind. Salespeople can adjust notification settings based on the importance of the case.

How to add opportunity notes?

When communicating sales cases with customers or recording the progress of opportunity tracking, do create opportunity notes. On the customer or company page, you can find the opportunity you are discussing with the customer and start creating opportunity notes.
