If a LINE customer who fills out a New Customer Form matches an existing customer in the system, can automatic merging be set up?

When a new friend joins the LINE official account, a LINE customer record will be created in the system. The administrator can set the feedback form to "automatically merge." After the customer completes the form, the system will automatically search for the existing customer data in the system based on the "name and (phone number or email address)" filled in the customer form, and then merge it with the LINE customer data.

  • Note: Since the links in the customer form may differ when different customers receive the same form, to maintain data consistency, all customer form links previously sent to that LINE customer will be invalidated after a successful merge.

Administrators can enable the "Merge Customer" function in the customer data feedback form editing screen.
* It is turned off by default, and existing customer forms will also be closed.

In this example, the top is an existing customer in the system, and the bottom is a LINE customer (only with name and LINE information).

After setting up automatic sending of feedback forms upon joining, if the customer correctly fills in their name and email address, their data will be automatically merged.
