Vital CRM
Customer Form - "Data Matching Rules"

The Customer Form defaults with both customer name and phone number as required information. Users can specify whether to enable confirmation emails and check for duplicates. One of the configurable options is the "Data Matching Rule," which includes six choices: "Customer Name + Phone Number + Company Name," "Customer Name + Email," "Customer Name + Phone Number," "Customer Name + Mobile," "Customer Name," and "Direct Import." Depending on the chosen mandatory method, the available functional options and required fields in the form content will automatically update.

The following will explain options of "Data Matching Rules":

1. When selecting "Customer Name + Phone Number + Company Name," this is suitable for scenarios where "a customer has two different company details; you need to create two customer records and treat them as different customer data." If the combination of "Customer Name + Phone Number + Company Name" doesn't find an existing customer, it will directly add a new one.

2. When selecting "Customer Name + Email," it will allign completely with the original customer form.

3. When opting for "Customer Name + Phone Number," it can check for duplicate phone numbers, but it cannot activate the confirmation letter.

4. By selecting "Customer Name + Mobile," it allows checking for duplicate mobile numbers but doesn't enable confirmation emails.

5. Choosing "Customer Name" only restricts the quantity of collected customers.

6. "Direct Import" means it can't check for duplicate information but can limit the quantity of collected customers, with the name remaining a mandatory field.

A reminder: If the system detects changes in the template area (as shown in the example, adding a "Nickname" field when "Name + Phone" is required), it will ask whether to reload when switching required options. It is advisable to decide on required items before editing the form content.
